How to Help Local Breast Cancer Survivors This October

(Without Wondering Where Your Money Goes)

Every October, we’re surrounded by pink ribbons, runs, and “awareness” campaigns. But for many survivors, that awareness doesn’t always translate into the care they still need. And for many donors, it raises the question: Where does my money actually go?

At Perky, we believe survivors deserve more than “awareness”—they deserve restoration. That’s why, through the Perky Restoration Program, we’re giving away 3 grants this October. These grants cover restorative tattooing services that insurance rarely supports but survivors deeply need to feel whole again—whether it’s 3D nipple tattoos after mastectomy, scar camouflage, or eyebrow tattooing before or after chemotherapy. All at no cost to them.

But the truth is, the need is greater than 3.

With your help, we can expand the number of women we’re able to serve. It’s not awareness, it’s action.

—and most importantly: 100% of every donation to the Perky Restoration Program goes directly to survivors who need these services.

Here’s what your sponsorship can provide:

  • $5 → Skip your coffee & help a survivor

  • $75-250 → Scar Camouflage services

  • $450 → Eyebrow tattooing pre/post chemo

  • $500 → One-sided nipple tattoo

  • $750 → Bilateral nipple tattoos

What is the Perky Restoration Program?

Pink Warrior Advocates and Perky have teamed up for the Perky Restoration Program, aiming to help breast cancer warriors reclaim something that cancer took—completely free of cost for warriors whose application has been approved.

Selected warriors in the Perky Restoration Program are eligible to receive a complimentary treatment from Perky, such as nipple restoration, eyebrow tattooing, or scar camouflaging.

If selected as a recipient, Perky will collaborate with you to create a treatment plan within the program's budget.

This program is intended to assist those who are experiencing financial distress from their cancer diagnosis so please keep that in consideration before applying for this program. This is a one time benefit for recipients.

Hear from one of our grant winners:

We can tell you all day how transformative nipple tattoos are, but nothing speaks louder than the women themselves.

One of our Perky Restoration Program grant recipients bravely shared her story—and how something as simple as an inked circle could bring back confidence, closure, and a sense of wholeness after everything breast cancer took away. Here’s what she had to say about what her nipple tattoo meant to her.
