A Look Back at Our 2025
2025 was a year shaped by stories. And we wanted to share a few of those with you before we head in to 2026.
The Magic that is Camp Breastie.
There really is nothing like Camp Breastie. This year we returned to camp and experienced the kind of magic that can’t be manufactured.
The Breasties is the first all-inclusive nonprofit organization that creates community for survivors, previvors, stage 4 thrivers, and caregivers impacted by breast and gynecologic cancers.
Tattooing within a space built on shared understanding and compassion like Camp Breastie reinforced everything we believe about community and survivorship.

Grants for Restorative Tattooing.
This year we continued our partnership with Pink Warrior Advocates through the Perky Restoration Program.
This program exists to help remove financial barriers to restorative tattooing services after breast cancer. Through fundraising efforts and community support, it provides patients access to life-changing services such as 3D nipple tattooing, scar camouflage, and eyebrow restoration.
These services are about more than appearance — they’re about confidence, closure, and reclaiming a sense of wholeness after everything cancer takes.

A Panel All About Nipple Restoration.
We had the incredible opportunity to take part in a panel at Camp Breastie alongside our friend Macee, where we discussed the art and impact of nipple restoration after breast cancer.
We shared education around nipple reconstruction and 3D nipple tattooing, including what options exist and how survivors can decide what’s right for them. You can learn more about those options by clicking here.
Diagnosed at just 26, Macee found healing and renewed confidence through 3D nipple tattoos at Camp Breastie. Her journey is a powerful full-circle story of restoration—read more about her experience here.
Highlighting the Bra Assistance Program.
We did a photoshoot with Pink Warrior Advocates and AnaOno to shine a light on their Bra Assistance Program and the very real barriers many survivors face after breast cancer.
Proper post-mastectomy bras aren’t a luxury—they’re essential for comfort, healing, and confidence, yet access is often limited or delayed. AnaOno’s thoughtfully designed bras and Pink Warrior Advocates’ commitment to advocacy and access came together in a powerful way.
Most importantly, this shoot helped amplify a program that ensures survivors don’t have to navigate recovery without the support they deserve. Learn more about the program here.
Planes, Trains & the Road to Restoration.
We welcomed a client who traveled from Canada to complete her reconstruction with us, supported by the generosity of MAC MedSpa. She was seeking not just a physical result, but a sense of closure after breast cancer.
Diagnosed at a young age, her concerns were initially dismissed, a reality many young patients know all too well. In her own words on our blog, she shares how advocating for herself became an essential part of her survival. Nipple tattooing and scar camouflage marked a powerful final step in her reconstruction, helping her reconnect with her body on her own terms.
We are deeply honored she trusted us with this part of her healing.
Challenging the Double Standard.
This year, we shared powerful updates from our third nipple clients—men who quite literally put their skin in the game to challenge how bodies are treated online.
Their willingness to show healed results has helped highlight the stark censorship double standard that disproportionately impacts breast cancer survivors, especially women. While male chests are often allowed to exist freely, survivor bodies are frequently hidden, flagged, or silenced.
By choosing visibility, these clients helped us advocate for more equitable representation and education around post-mastectomy bodies.
The Work at the Heart of It All
Through it all, we continued doing what we do best—restoring nipples and eyebrows, and camouflaging scars. Each appointment was more than a service; it was a moment of trust, care, and presence.
We truly love what we do and meeting each and every client that comes through our doors. Some are seeking closure, others confidence, and many something they can’t quite put into words yet.
Our work remains rooted in listening first, and restoring second.
Monthly Reminders, Lasting Impact.
Education remained woven into our rhythm throughout 2025. Month after month, we reminded our community to Feel It on the First, encouraging connection to their bodies through simple, consistent self-checks.
These reminders weren’t just about routine—they were about empowering people to understand their bodies, notice changes early, and advocate for their own health.
We shared tips, visuals, and encouragement to make the practice approachable and sustainable for everyone. Learn more about the self-breast exam here.
Behind-the-Scenes Growth.
This year also held meaningful growth behind the scenes. Crystal began her nurse coaching journey, opening new pathways to support care that truly centers the whole person. This expansion allows us to go beyond physical restoration, integrating emotional, mental, and holistic well-being into every client interaction.
By developing new skills and perspectives, we can provide guidance, encouragement, and education in ways that meet each individual exactly where they are. It’s a reminder that growth doesn’t just happen in the spotlight—it often happens quietly, behind the scenes, shaping how we show up for every client.
Amplifying Education.
This year, we had the opportunity to educate and share our work on nipple restoration after breast cancer across multiple platforms.
We spoke on The Peak, as well as the podcasts Wonders & Worries and Working Moms of San Antonio.
Each conversation allowed us to reach new audiences, provide insights into the emotional and physical aspects of restoration, and answer questions survivors often hesitate to ask.
Sharing knowledge in these spaces helps survivors feel seen, informed, and empowered.
Pink Out Flow with Studio 108.
Community showed up in beautiful ways this year through Studio 108’s donation-based Pink Out yoga session.
The event raised funds in support of the Perky Restoration Program, helping remove financial barriers for survivors seeking nipple restoration and other restorative tattooing services.
Beyond fundraising, the session created a space for connection, reflection, and solidarity among participants. It reminded us that healing isn’t just an individual journey—it’s strengthened by community support.
Education and Patient Stories.
The Perk Up is our space for honest education, storytelling, and conversations about life during and after breast cancer. Here, we go beyond before-and-after photos to explore nipple restoration options, scar healing, body image, intimacy, and survivorship.
We share patient stories and expert insight while addressing topics that are often overlooked—grief, identity changes, and learning to feel at home in your body again. Survivorship doesn’t end when treatment does, and access to clear, compassionate information matters.
2025 wasn’t about doing more. It was about listening better. Holding space longer. And honoring the trust placed in us every single day.
Thank you for being part of this year with us.
