Why have nipple tattoos been an afterthought? We applaud all the doctors, nurses, and tattooists alike who do realize the importance of a good nipple tattoo experience. Let’s face it, some people offer nipple tattooing when they flat-out shouldn’t. Whether they feel obligated to offer the service, they plainly just don’t care about the results, or if it is a money-driven decision, we have to ask ourselves, “who is left to suffer?”…The patient. At Perky, we absolutely love offering nipple tattooing services. It is our goal to never leave someone scarred from their tattoo experience, but instead leave them feeling restored. Being able to quit our day-to-day nursing careers and fully immerse ourselves in restorative tattooing has been such a blessing for us. We only hope to in turn be a blessing for the community of men and women who truly need our services and deserve the best results.

Patients need to know their options, so they can make the best decision for themselves. This is true for every step of their breast cancer journey including nipple tattooing. Tattoos are permanent and so are the effects of a good or bad result. We have learned the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to nipple tattooing. We started doing them at a doctor’s office with antiquated techniques and poor ink quality. Through time and a ton of training we now have so much skill and knowledge to back it up. Still, we are always learning more and further improving our techniques, because you deserve nothing less.
